"Concept: The nature of life — KWAN The communication of coexistence between life and the beliefs of the Isan people, which are connected to spirituality and nature, originates from the belief in “khwan” (spirit), which relates to the soul bound to nature and human life. This belief is conveyed through a wall-hanging art piece that incorporates weaving techniques using banana fiber. It expresses delicacy and craftsmanship by creating layered textures inspired by the folding of bai sri (traditional offerings), forming patterns and lines that draw the eye toward the center of the piece — reflecting elements from the belief in the symbolic patterns of khwan. The concept behind the presentation is that no matter how scattered the khwan may be, wherever they may have gone, let them return and be united here. It is a symbolic calling to gather all the good spirits of life into this very place."
